If you like your festivals cheesy – no, I’m not referring to the likes of Jedward, Honey G, et al appearing on the same stage. I literally mean the edible, variety. In the run up to Christmas, Greenwich events space Studio 338 will host a huge cheese festival across three arenas at the venue.

This event is fully immersive, visitors will be invited to sample artisan cheeses from across Europe as they walk around the cheese board. Ticket holders can gorge on unlimited FREE cheese paired with biscuits and mulled wine.

The organisers have opted for ‘supersize’: a large baked Camembert will take centre stage, served by man-sized mice, while a double height fireplace will provide a cosy backdrop.

One would assume that a cheese festival would be the last place a vegan would feel welcome, fortunately, there will be a selection of vegan-friendly alternatives for those not about that dairy life.

Once guests have had their fill, they can burn off cheese-fuelled calories, dancing to cheesy anthems of course, after the cheese board transforms into a dance floor.

True turophiles and those with a penchant for cheesy tunes will love this festival. Tickets are priced from £30 and include unlimited FREE cheese, biscuits and mulled wine.

The Giant Cheese Board – Saturday 16th December 3 pm – 3 am.  For tickets and further information please visit: or
