Crazy golf has received  a hipster makeover courtesy of the Junkyard Golf Club. Originally launched in Manchester by Chris Legh, James Bart Murphy and Lyndon Higginson; the trio’s combined club, bar and leisure experience led to the formation of this madcap, good times destination. Fully sustainable, the twisted crazy golf courses are created from reclaimed and re-purposed items such as a speed boat and life-size plastic cow! Add alcohol, food and music to the mix, and you have a whole new level of enjoyment.

Junkyard Golf Club London was launched in Brick Lane (May 2016), and its back after a winter hiatus. Fresh golf courses and upgraded bars have been added, party enthusiasts can now try their luck on the following new courses:

Pablo transports players into a tree house, past a deep-cave-bear-wrestling-cage via a Rihanna themed forest. Not to mention a stopover at Rio –on-Sea.

Bozo is not for the fainthearted given its circus freak inhabitants. Winner takes all in Junkyard’s dark homage to all things circus: A Ferris wheel, hall of mirrors and scary clowns.

Gary is firmly implanted in Junkyard’s roots, a good old-fashioned scrap yard challenge. Tyre loop-the loops, a salvaged slide, Gary’s UV garage rave and more.Photo 01-03-2017, 22 20 29

Guests can re-fuel at two ‘bunker’ bars, plus four perfectly placed course-side bars for a mid-game quench of slushies, beer and cocktails. Food options have been given a fairground spin with salted caramel popcorn and pick ‘n’ mix now available alongside hot dogs and nachos.

Junkyard Golf Club’s popularity does not appear to be waning – over 200,000 players have been welcomed through the doors so far, see what all the fuss is about and tee off junkyard style.
