With the launch of special fish and chip dishes across its restaurants Tom’s Kitchen have hailed Fridays as Fish and Chip Fridays! As a long –standing British tradition, many of us can relate to fish and chip Fridays; growing up this was the day of the week my mum elected as her day off from cooking, so we relied on the local chippy to provide sustenance.

Tom’s Kitchen is certainly an upgrade from the fish and chip shop I used to frequent back in the day; in addition to serving traditional Beer Battered Fish & Chips with crushed peas, homemade tartare sauce and lemon (£16); Breaded Lemon Sole Burger, with pickles, gem lettuce, homemade tartare sauce and fries (£16); Grilled Halibut with vegetable and cornmeal fries, and a pea and broad bean salad (£25), also feature on the menu. All fish is supplied by renowned family run business, Celtic Fish & Game,* and hand-picked from Cornish ports, markets and boats.

Serving the best in British seasonal produce, Tom’s Kitchen is a great spot to unwind and welcome the weekend – what better way to do it than with Fish and Chip Fridays!
