The Hilton Bankside is providing a two night London Marathon Package, marathon runners and guests alike can expect a comfortable stay courtesy of the hotel’s cosy rooms, while energy levels will be maintained via the specially designed menu at OXBO Bankside, created by Executive Chef Paul Bates. Arriving on Saturday 23rd April –‘marathon eve’ – guests will enjoy a three –course dinner consisting of high protein and carbohydrate ingredients: roasted maize-fed chicken; buckwheat pancakes; bean ragouts; and tender stem broccoli.
On the actual morning of the marathon a power breakfast served of made-to-order protein shakes, porridge and crumpets; will ensure a good start. Guests will then be gifted with the Runner’s Survival Kit comprising of: a Lucozade energy drink, Alpen breakfast bar and banana, Jelly Beans and an SIS Isotonic Gel helping to keep energy levels high throughout the 26 endurance race.
Upon completing the strenuous yet iconic marathon across London and returning triumphant to Hilton Bankside, the hotel will be supplying full post-run celebrations with chocolate treats, The Distillery’s own IPA beer and the obligatory congratulatory champagne.
Finally, guests will be given a well-deserved late check out on the day after the marathon, allowing for total rest and relaxation.
Hilton Bankside’s London Marathon Package is priced from £249 for single occupancy and £269 for double occupancy, and is available between 23rd and 25th April 2016, and must be booked before 23rd April.
