You probably enjoy your weekends and not overjoyed at the prospect of returning to work on Mondays, fortunately Bel & The Dragon’s forthcoming wine auction taking place on Monday 7th March, will be a wonderful antidote to Monday monotony. The auction will include a selection of Bordeaux, Burgundies along with a whole host of other wonderful wines from around the world.

This exclusive event will be held at Bel & The Dragon’s Godalming site* – a former church built in the 1800s, which has been restored to reflect its grand nature.The beautiful historic building is nestled in the picturesque Surrey Hills and a short stroll from the river Wey._DSC6343_filtered

Guests will be treated to a wonderful two course dinner whilst they bid on a superb collection of the best crus, vineyards, producers and vintages. The 10-lot auction will also feature a selection of the finest Champagnes and a Balthazar of Laurent-Perrier will also come under the hammer. Burgundy lovers will relish the sight of Montrachet – considered one of the world’s finest white wine vineyards.mushroommacaroni

Delicious dishes including Bel & The Dragon’s signature Roasted Suckling Pig will feature in addition to: Pan Roasted Hake with Pearl Barley, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Gooey Gluten-Free Chocolate Nemesis, Cashel Blue Cheese laced with Port and served with crisp Celery & Oatcakes, aka Drunken Cheese.Chocolate Nemesis
