Pop –Up restaurants are now an established part of our food landscape and a viable option for casual diners. As we enter into spring and summer, expect a slew of pop –ups offering a range of food options from Peruvian to pan –Asian.

Chic Champagne bar Voltaire are fully embracing London’s vibrant street food scene by collaborating with three of London’s top street food traders; who will be taking up temporary residence at Voltaire’s, Crowne Plaza, City address, over a successive three week period from the 25th March – 22nd May. The street food traders – will be packing their trucks full of delicious dishes, while Voltaire provides the Champagne.

The Cheese TruckVoltaire -Cheese Truck Chorizo

Style: Showcasing the best of British cheese combined with seasonal, local produce for melt –in –your mouth toasties.

You can find them: 25th March -10th April (Wednesday –Friday 17:30 -22:00)

What’s on the menu?

Classic Keen’s cheddar, Ogleshield and mixed onion (£6.50); Cropwell Bishop Stilton, sweet cure bacon and pear chutney (£7); Rosary goat’s cheese, honey and walnuts with rosemary butter (£7);Queso Chihuahua cheese, chorizo and rocket (£7.50).

Also, fondue fries (£5); triple cheese croquettes with TCT chilli and chorizo jam (£6); must-try sweet Stilton, dark chocolate and walnut brownies with vanilla ice cream (£4.50).

Pair with: Pommery’s Falltime Blanc de Blancs Extra Dry Champagne.

Style: A Western twist on British ingredients, fully-loaded burgers filled with either duck (bill) or chicken (beak).

You can find them: 15th April – 2nd May (Wednesday –Friday 17:30 -22:00)

What’s on the menu?

Bill: shredded duck and pork, topped with spring onions, coriander, mint and a Vietnamese dressing with tempura shallots – pair with Pommery Wintertime Blanc de Noirs Champagne; Beak: grilled, corn-fed chicken drizzled in Caesar anchovy dressing topped with tempura capers, rosemary croutons and fresh Parmesan  (Both priced at £5 for one bun or £9 for two) pair with Pommery Summertime Blanc de Blancs Champagne; Sides: fries topped with house hoisin, pickled cucumber mayo, finished with chicken scratchings (£4.50)

Randy’s Wing BarVoltaire -Randy's Wing Bar - Buffalo Wings

Style: Epic American –style chicken wings, marinated in spiced blends, characterised by the addictive, crispy crunch.

You can find them: 6th -22nd May (Wednesday –Friday 17:30 -22:00)

What’s on the menu?

Randy’s Buffalo Wings with blue cheese and celery (£4.50 for 4); Randy’s Asian Wings sprinkled with crushed fried peanuts and toasted sesame seeds (£4.50 for 4); Randy’s Buffalo Shrimp with lemon and dill dip (£5); Chicken Scratchings with Rosemary salt or Asian 7 spice (£3.50).

Pair with: Pommery’s Springtime Brut Rosé Champagne.
