Valentine’s Day is somewhat like marmite; you either love it or hate it. For all the bonafide romantics out there who adore this love fest, there are cynics amongst us whose indifference has spawned the ‘anti –Valentine movement; a quick search on Google reveals a slew of mildly amusing anti-Valentine cards and numerous anti –Valentine events. The organisers of the aforementioned are either driven by a sense of revenge after having their hearts broken or motivated by good old fashioned commerce, I’m inclined to think the latter.

I have drawn up a few Valentine suggestions for all you non-romantically challenged readers, for those of you seeking an antidote to Valentine’s please scroll to the bottom of the page for a list of anti -Valentine events:

Bespoke Bottle of Tequilaimage

Many a romance has been fuelled by Tequila, so why not indulge with Tea and Tequila’s personalised bespoke bottles of Tequila? A sleek bottle of Alacrán Tequila, personalised with your ‘Valentine’s name makes for a great gift. The bottles are available in either black or pink and are hand –delivered.

Alacrán Tequila a direct translation of ‘Authentic Scorpion Tequila’, is 100% pure white Tequila – the purity results in a clean taste which lends itself well to cocktails. Tea and Tequila have also devised some special Tequila infused cocktails that can be enjoyed beyond Valentine’s Day, click here for their frozen Margarita recipe.
