In part 2 of the New Year, New You Series, we turn our attention to aromatherapy – and healing through scent

The Sweet Smell of Success

Essential oils work by interacting with the limbic system – the oldest and most primitive part of our brains, and directly linked to our survival.

Whether simply inhaled or used in massage blends, sprays or creams, aromatherapy has the power to help you succeed in keeping your New Year’s resolutions.

There are a number of oils which can be brought forward to help you – it all depends on your likes, dislikes and current state of health.

Below are several oils which I have used successfully with different clients to help them quit smoking or other habits:image
